Please note that no purchase or payment is necessary to participate. Entry in this contest constitutes your acceptance of these official rules.

Official rules:

1- Eligibility: The Contest is open to legal residents of their respective countries where not prohibited by law and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.The Moodle Users Association has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant.

2- Contest Period: The contest will open Monday, 26 of September at 6 am UTC and it will end on Thursday, 29 of September at 12 noon UTC. All entries must be received on or before the time stated during that period. The Moodle Users Association reserves the right to extend or shorten the contest at their sole discretion.

3- How to enter: This contest is aimed at all attendants (online or live) of the Moodle Global Moot Barcelona 2022. You can participate in two different ways depending whether you are watching the event live or online, following those steps:

3.1-Those watching the event live will only need to go to the MUA Booth in the Speakers corner and take a photo of themselves in a special spot we will have prepared for you. Those watching the event online will only have to take a selfie of themselves watching the event live from their computer, tablet or smartphone. 

3.2- Follow us in Twitter and Facebook.

3.3- Share your selfies through Facebook or Twitter with the hashtags #MUAgiveaway22 and #MootGlobal22.

4- Winner selection: The winner will be selected randomly and announced at the end of the Global Moot, and through MUA’s social media channels on Thursday, 29 of September.

5- Prize: You will have the chance to win one full year (12 months) Individual membership at 100% discount rate, meaning at no cost at all, even if you’re already an active member, however in that case, you will also have the possibility to gift your prize to someone else you’d think would enjoy being part of MUA.

Once the 12 months period has expired, you’ll be asked if you wish to renew your membership. In case you don’t wish to renew, you don’t need to do anything else besides ignoring this notification. In case that you would like to renew your individual membership, you will be able to do so by paying the invoice that will be sent to you.

6- Prize Transfer: After the winner is announced, he/she will have one week to decide if he/she will be keeping the membership for himself/herself or if he/she will be giving his/her prize to someone else, in which case the winner shall never request any money in exchange for the prize. After that time, the prize will be non-transferable. This membership will belong only to you (or the person you gifted the prize to) and cannot be transferred onto someone else.

7- General Conditions: The Moodle Users Association reserves the right to terminate, suspend or amend the prized membership, without notice, and for any reason, including, without limitation, any misuse of the membership or attempt to damage the name of the Association.

By participating, each entrant grants The Moodle Users Association permission to use his/her name, likeness or comments for publicity purposes without payment of additional consideration, except where prohibited by law.

By entering this contest, each entrant agrees to indemnify, release and hold harmless the Moodle Users Association and all of its members as well as the the twitter and Facebook platforms, any liability, damages, losses or injury resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from that entrants participation in this contest and the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize that may be won.

8- Sponsors: This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other organisation other than The Moodle Users Association.

By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Rules.
